Who we are
MISSION
We seek to know Jesus Christ better and to reach out to others in His name.

Helping others
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Edenton, NC, is a parish that answers God’s call to help neighbors in need. We are reminded each week as we leave our churchyard: “You are now entering the mission field. Go forth to serve the Lord!”
Worshiping & learning
Grounded in Creedal Orthodoxy, our congregation seeks expressions of worship that enhance our spiritual growth and meet the diverse needs of our church family. This includes strengthening Christian education for parish members of all ages.
Sharing Christ's message
We seek to present Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit in such ways that lead people to acknowledge Him as Savior and follow Him as Lord in the fellowship of His church.
Welcoming all
This is a place where you can sense not only the past, but also the Holy Spirit. Come and see for yourself what God is doing here.
We're a parish focused on:

Church life at St. Paul's

Our members say they joined—and have stayed—at this church because they find it warm, friendly, and spiritually alive. St. Paul’s congregants prioritize community support and involvement, and they regularly participate in ecumenical activities.
Lay people are given leadership opportunities within the parish, inclusive of both men and women.
Church life is rich and varied here. In addition to weekly activities, we hold special events throughout the year that give us exciting and meaningful ways to experience God and build fellowship. One of the most popular is our annual Family Camp each summer, which is our version of Vacation Bible School—but for the whole family. We also offer an incredible variety of opportunities for youths and children, plus a renowned music program.
